Awesome! Would love to hear about your research into these issues within the community as well.
Papaya Stories is setting up an interactive stress-free zone in the Japanese Garden (Henderson) during the Placemaking Week in Auckland 15 - 19 October.
The interactive stress-free zone will be available throughout the day from 8am to 6pm.
The magical garden and our smartphone-free, stress-free space will be operating daily from 8am till 6pm. It is accessible to ALL people and can be enjoyed by everyone - people who work, live and happen to be in Henderson. Everyone is welcome!
We would like to create or enhance the space that is perfect for silence, solitude, recharging energy and rebalance Mind, Body and Soul.
The idea of connecting to space through a lens of human senses (vision, hearing, smell, touch, intuition) provides the main conceptual foundation for the activation.
We will provide the sitemap at the entrance so you can explore the garden through the senses. Plus, we invite you to take part in our small group intimate workshops.
Activities that are accessible during the whole week:
DIY spot - learn how to make your own crane origami
Site Map - Explore the Garden with senses
