Community Gardens Policies / Guides

Community gardens have become a more popular community-building and food security tool for neighbourhoods post-covid. A crowdsourced list of existing guides and lessons in Aotearoa is a useful tool for councils and community groups looking to enable community gardens in the future.

We encourage you to add NZ community garden guides or policies to this list so that others can compare best practice in Aotearoa.
